Think you can zing the one-liners out with the best of them? Try your hand at the Viking Cues Photo Caption Contest.
Winners will posted on the homepage of InsidePOOLMag.com at the beginning of the month after the contest ends. Winners will also recieve their “15 minutes” by having their winning entry listed in the photo caption section of Inside POOL Magazine, which is across from the inside back cover.
You can enter as often as one time per day. If you don’t win this month, you can try again next month.
Inside POOL Magazine and Viking Pool Cues will be holding a photo caption contest every month during 2008.
The photo for the month of October features Mike Massey possibly singing at a pool tournament. Visitors can submit entries via the Photo Caption Entry Form by going to the photo caption contest entry page. You can enter every day, one time per day.

Photo Caption Contest
OFFICIAL RULES
1. Rules. No purchase necessary. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final in all respects.
2. Entry. To enter, make up a caption for the photo posted under “Photo Caption Contest” on the Inside POOL Magazine home page at www.insidepoolmag.com. Enter the competition by submitting your completed online entry form (below) for the posted photo by midnight August 31, 2008, EST. You may enter the contest daily, but each caption must be original, of the entrant’s own creation. Caption must not have been entered in any other competition or violate the rights of other parties. Caption may not be offensive or defamatory, as determined by the judges.
Entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain-name search; in the event of dispute, e-mail entries will be deemed submitted by the owner of the e-mail address from which the e-mail was sent. All submissions become the property of Inside POOL Magazine with all rights to copy, edit, broadcast, publish, and use, in whole or in part, any caption, including all concepts copyrighted or copyrightable, in any manner without further consideration (except where prohibited by law). Entries will not be returned.
3. Eligibility. You must be a legal resident of the U.S. or Canada aged 18 years or older. Employees of Inside POOL Magazine and any other company/persons involved with this promotion, and all their immediate family and household members, are not eligible.
4. Selection of Winners. The winning selection is conducted by Inside POOL Magazine employees, whose decisions are final. Winning captions will be selected based on their originality/creativity, humor, and appropriateness of subject matter to the image.
5. Award of Prize. One prize winner will be awarded a Viking cue, retail valued at $300-$400 and a one-year subscription to InsidePool Magazine.
Current Inside POOL Magazine subscribers will receive a one-year extension on their subscription to Inside POOL Magazine In lieu of a new one-year subscription.
No substitute prizes or cash will be awarded in lieu of the advertised prize, but Inside POOL Magazine may substitute a prize of equivalent or greater value due to availability. Prize is not transferable. All taxes, interest, and penalties, if any, on prize are the winner’s sole responsibility. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
6. Notification and Claiming Prize. Entrant submitting the caption selected will be notified by e-mail at contest completion. Winner will also be announced on www.Insidepoolmag.com. If a selected winner is unreachable or ineligible or otherwise fails to comply with these official rules, that selected winner forfeits the prize and another winner will be selected.
7. No Liability. By participating, each entrant (i) releases, indemnifies and agrees to hold harmless Inside POOL Magazine, and their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, officers, directors, shareholders, and agents, including advertising agencies, from and against all claims, liability, injury, or damages relating to the sweepstakes, any entry, or any prize or use thereof, whether or not known or suspected by him/her to exist in his/her favor at the time of the sweepstakes; and (ii) agrees that these entities are in no way responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relating to any entry or to any prize.
Inside POOL Magazine is not responsible for printing or input errors or for damaged, late, lost, illegible, incomplete, delayed, garbled, distorted, damaged, unintelligible, or misdirected entries; communications, software, hardware, or transmission failures of any kind regardless of cause; or any technical, human, or other error in the processing of entries. Inside POOL Magazine is not liable for any injury or damages caused, whether directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from any participation in this sweepstakes. If in Inside POOL Magazines’ opinion there is any suspected or actual electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the sweepstakes, InsidePOOL Magazine reserves the right to terminate online entries in the sweepstakes, only accepting those legitimate entries received as of the termination date and subsequent mail entries.
8. Laws. Subject to applicable laws, regulations, and taxes. Void where prohibited by law. This sweepstakes may be construed and evaluated solely according to United States federal, state, and local laws.
9. Winners. For the names of winners go to www.insidepoolmag.com at the beginning of the month that Inside POOL Magazine publishes.
