Barry Behrman press conference slams IPT

Barry Behrman held a press conference at the U.S. Open. He slams tha IPT for several things. One of them was that the IPT had sent a letter to the hotel for every player that wasn't already playing in IPT qualifiers or on the IPT. It's some pretty interesting stuff. Here's the link:

both kevin and barry arent' exactly innocent choir boys. the two should stop their fussin' and work together towards bringing pool back to the mainstream

I'm sure Barry would be more than willing to cooperate and work things out to better the future of the game.
In this situation, KT is the proverbial 500 pound gorilla, doing whatever pleases him and benefits the IPT, without consideration of anyone else.

Originally, the IPT indicated that they would do whatever they could to avoid conflicts with other major pool tournaments.
I have not rechecked, so this is subject to my memory, but, IIRC, the IPT announced a 6 tournament shedule and 5 of those events were in conflict with other major tournaments around the world.
They didn't try very hard to avoid conflicts.
