Landon Shuffett - future champion?

Landon plays pretty darn good, especially for a 12 year old. He beat Jui Lung Chen 11-7. Chen wins those Fast Eddies tours with tons of champions in them. How good is Landon? Of course, Jeremy Jones beat Landon last night, but that doesn't take away that fact that he beat a great player at the US Open when he was only 12 years old!

Landon played IPT player Brian Groce in the first round. He lost 11-2, but Brian played really well. He said Landon is going to be a champion. He could tell because Landon was so composed. I agree. You can just tell. His mannerisms and facials expressions. He's destined to be a champion.

Barry Behrman said that Landon, at 12 years old, was the youngest player to ever win a round in the Open.
We all have to watch this kid. He is good and he is also a good student. Add his name to the long list of young up and coming players.

No doubt in my opinion one of the best up and coming players, Last week he beat Earl "The Squirrel A.K.A The Pearl" Strickland 7-2 in a 54 man tourney in Athens Georgia he went on from there to get 4th, I've meet this kid, and not only is he the best 12 year old player in the world, he is the best acting, a true gentleman of the sport. Definately the best Junior of his age today. Now will he be a Future Pro Champion, I wouldn't want to bet against it...But the Future is up to him and what he makes of it.
