Default $9,000 added at Hammer Heads!!
The next stop on the Seminole Pro Tour is coming up soon at Hammer Head Billiards in Holiday, FL on October 5-7. $9,000 will be added and we expect to have a full field of 72 players. The deadline to register for the event and pay only $150 is THIS FRIDAY. After that, the entry fee will be $175 until the field is full. We suggest you register as soon as possible by calling Brenna Mello @ 954-364-5201 ext. 4 or emailing her at BrennaMello@semtribe.com

Also, the rankings were just updated and you can check them out at Tony Crosby - The Sniper - 9-Ball Champion

Default Apologies
I just wanted to apologize for the lack of updated information from Hammer Heads this weekend. Due to an Internet connection that was shaky at best, and having issues with the Forums all weekend, I just couldnt get anything posted after early Saturday afternoon.

It was a great event and a beautiful room. Dan Lavoie and Nora have done a outstanding job of turning their room into one of the nicest I have seen. If you are ever near Holiday, FL I suggest you stop on in.

As for the tournament, Stevie Moore pulled out a double hill final victory over Brian Brekke to end the night. The article and payouts are posted on AZ. Stevie had to battle back after losing to Brian at 12pm on Sunday after missing a match winning 10-ball that usually finds the back of the pocket. He regrouped and found his way to the finals after taking down Neil Fujiwara, Tony Crosby, and Corey Deuel.

Other notes:
Brian Brekke, Ty Wilson, and Josh Burbul made the trip from Minnessota and were impressive to say the least. Brian finished 2nd and Ty finished 9th-12th.

Corey Deuel now takes a commanding lead in Tour points and these should be posted shortly on Tony Crosbys website Tony Crosby - The Sniper - 9-Ball Champion

After forfeiting his first match due to arriving late, Charlie Williams went on to win the next 7 matches and finish in 5th-6th.

Jeff Hughes also lost his 1st match and turned it around to win the next 6 and finish in 7th-8th

The next tournament will be held on Saturday October 27th-October 28th, at Bird Bowl Billiards in Miami and will be capped at 64 players. Please register ASAP as this will be another $9,000 added event. Call Brenna Mello at 954-364-5201 ext. 4 to sign up.

Here's to another solid event and hopefully some better Internet issues in a few weeks!

Since your in the area, if you want to watch or even play in a great 9ball tournament, come to strokers (in palm harbor) on wednesday nights, they have an open 9 ball tournament. There are a few pro players that play in it every week. Tony Crosby is the house pro and plays weekly unless he is out playing on tour. The winner of the U.S. amateur championships (Jason) plays there daily and plays every wednesday night. I've seen corel duel and earl strickland in there as well, just to name a few.
