I need advice

I am a decent player but recently my game is off. I seem to be able to make shots and leave no position. Or miss and leave perfect position.Any suggestions? Or should I hold memoral services for what was once a good game?

Have you ever played Rotation? This is a great game for positional play. For me it's attention to detail and visualizing the shot and cue-ball placement. I always find something on the table, a mark, chalk, something to get me reference and then visualize the cue-ball landing there.

If there's certain shots that you are missing, or certain times of the match where you are faltering, then I would concentrate on those key shots. There was a time when I would miss on the last three balls, so I would rack those three balls, break and runout. I'd do this 10 times without missing, then move onto 4 and so on.
