Opinions on cloth please

Well we got our first pool table. Now we need to order cloth for the table. I've only ever heard of Simonis 860 but I'd like to hear the opinions of others. Do you have a favorite cloth & why? Is there really a big difference in the quality of play between the brands?

So far I've found Simonis 860, Velocity, & Mercury. I"m sure there are others I just haven't yet heard about.

This table's in our home & going to get some HEAVY use. I'm playing daily to catch up so I can do some tournaments & such (I'm brand new to the game). My husband's a very good player & all his buddies are looking forward to having a local place to play otherwise they're going to have to drive a half hour on evenings & weekends. Want something nice. It'll be going on a used Gold Crown IV.

Simonis 860 is used in most professional tournaments. There are several other brands/styles of cloth but for top performance in speed and accuracy for all pool games Simonis is the top choice. A bit pricey but you'll be glad you went with the best.

I wouldn't mess around. Go for the Simonis 860. On a home table, it should last for years and it is the best, IMHO.
One of the cloths by Gorina is close to Simonis, but I forget which one.
I never heard of Velocity or Mercury.
