Question There's A New Table In Town
And you thought you had your banking game down. Really, how good are you? I build 6, 7 & 8' Custom Round Pool Tables.

You're a table maker who can say, with a straight face, that his tables will truly revolutionize pool.

A whole new set of games will be invented for those round tables.

Yours Truly,
The Woim

Interesting! I hope they take off for you. Not sure I'd want to recover one though. How tough/easy are stretching the rails with the curves and flat portions?

Covering The Rail

Default Covering The Rail
The first time I tried to cover a rail I thought it was going to be impossible,
but then after covering a few dozen and learning a few tricks of the trade, its not that hard, but still a little time consuming.

Thanks,
stilnsocal

I had a guy that wanted me to build him a custom 12 hole table out of an old coin-op. He thought he had the latest and greatest thing going in pool.

I built the thing. The game never took off.

Check into "Pidgeon hole pool". Look into the patents held between 1850 and 1910 in regards to the games collectively known as "Billiards".

Many have tried to re-invent the wheel. Few have succeeded.

The game of "Pocket Billiards" (8 ball, 9 ball, Straight Pool, One Pocket, Snooker, etc.) almost didn't make it. Instead, most favored the tried and true game of "Billiards" (No pockets. Just rails).

Don't get me wrong! I hope this takes off for you. I just don't see it happening.

By the way, I wouldn't want to re-cover one either!
