Default Finally completed the refinish of a Very Early Heubler / Meucci cue
This cue was sent to me by a member of the other forum. The cue belonged to a very good friend who had passed away, and whom was a very good 3-Cushion Player from the Chicago IL area.

The reason I suspect that the cue is a Early Huebler / Meucci collaboration is first due to the fact that they did work together in the late 1960's / early 1970's. The cue has a classic Huebler pin and plastic shaft insert, however, it has a 1 1/4 inch ferrule and the overall design kinda looks more Meuccci than Huebler at least to me.

The cue had a broken butt cap, along with the ring above it, when I was removing the cue wrap to start the refinish, the cue completely unscrewed at the A-joint (forearm / under wrap). The cues shaft was the only part of this cue that was in perfect condition in the begining.

Here are photo's of the before and after the refinish:

Nice work, Craig. If you're a wacko like me, you feel quite proud when you bring a classic piece back from the dead, especially when there's some sentimental value attached.
