Default new home table...help
Hi all, new to the forum. I'm shopping for a home table, 8 foot. Looking at brunswick, olhausen, and connely. Want to spend less than $3500. Prefer new. Any help/suggestions on brand (which is 'better') and models would be appreciated!!!

Thanks!

My suggestion to you is to look closely at a used table. You can purchase a high quality table at a very reduced price.

About differences in tables, review each of the manufactures websites. You never said if you were interested in a furniture type table. The most important part of the table, is what you don't see, meaning the frame. Look for something that is built solid underneath

Tony...thanks for the suggestion. Where can I find used tables. I've already looked in craigs list, etc. I'm also in MD.

We are looking more for a furniture type table. I was at a local store yesterday and saw an olhausen santa ana and blackhawk that I liked. For connelly, either the prescott or san carlos. Looks like some of the olhausen frames are not hard wood or are tulipwood...not sure about that.

Thanks again!

I've gotta agree with Tony. If you check Craigslist, and the quality of Craigslist depends on your area, you might find a great deal on a furniture table taht is like new, but at half the price.

If you have your heart set on new, then it's nothing more than using your Google skills to find a retailer.
