OH yeah and big time sponsors are watching and ready to pounce. Players just have to dress and act like professionals.

ESPN sells air time to pool events, they don't buy it.
It's been a LONG time since ESPN did a LIVE airing of any pool event.

Almost all the Pro Womens events are at least 4 hours of races to 7, instead of the normal race to 9. Just so the TV time can be filled better.

I am not sure what you mean by 'Getting into pool in a big way'? Please explain.

As long as Poker remains a strong draw, most of the billiards programming will be pushed to ESPN 2 and ESPN Classic. ESPN will put first run programming on the flagship, but for the most part, reruns are being sent to their smaller channels. There's an absolute ton of billiards programming on Classic nowadays, but until billiards can draw more than their standard 0.4 Nielsen number, it is doubtful that you'll see much billiards programming on the flagship.

Just my opinion based on the programming availability that our ESPN rep sends us.
