Default Louis Roberts Action and Entertainment Award '08!!!!
We're less than a month away!!! Are you all ready for the ACTION!!!!!

As every year, spectators from the internet billiard forum community, members of the AZBilliards, CCBoard, InsidePOOLmag.com and the OnePocket.Org forums will have the opportunity to vote for the upcoming 2008 Derby City Classic Louis Roberts Action and Entertainment Award.

This award goes to the person that is deemed to exemplify the meaning of action and entertainment throughout their attendance at the 2007 Derby City Classic. It could be as a player, backer, woofer, or all of the above. So make sure you pay attention to the action. If you don't know who or what you're watching, ask someone.

For more information on the award, here's the writeup at Steve Booth's OnePocket.Org site for last year's winner:

LouisRobertsAward2007

Please also, check out the attached PDF file for information on voting for this most prestigious award.

Regards,

Fred Agnir

I missed Derby, but caught a bit of the action room via the live feed from "The Action Report".

BAsed on what I saw, I would vote for Shane Van Boening for "the Louie". Everytime I tuned into the TAR live feed, SVB was in action. He played Hennessee twice, Justin Cone, Alex 3x's, Cliff Joyner and Scott FRost. Hell, he was in aciton 24/7.

Honorable mention would go to the guys at The Action Report. Justin and Big Nasty/Chad really got something here. Everytime I tuned in, there were between 400 to 1000 viewers. If this isn't the epitomy of entertaining a bunch of poolplayers....

Lastly, the "Britney" award for being the biggest attention who're goes to Fred Agnir. I swear to god, whenever i tuned in, everytime, day or night, he was being a microphone hog! (ribbin ya a lil, Fred) Actually, I would love to have been at DCC and commentating on action too, so maybe i'm a lil envious, lol.

Anywho, SVB for "the Louie"!

I believe that Fred said there will be no votes for those who did not attend this year. It kinda makes perfect sense to me. But I will also add that the reason for SVB being on TAR every night was because the guys who run the TAR also back SVB in action at times and he is their horse, so they used each other in this case. That being said I agree with E, there is not much of a choice SVB it is.
