rich, i'm curious to know if you have ever seen the typical 4 point, 4 veneer traditional cues that are pretty much the old school traditional cue by those top makers
have you ever noticed how many of them have inlays at the tips of the points???
the inlays usually covering the tips, is what i mean
know why that is??????
i hear what your saying, beleive me,
just because this cue is not "perfect" by no means, means that i'm totally satisfied and am not trying to achieve that perfection
i chose to state up front what my personal opinion of this cue was, rather to possibly be misconstrued as deceiving someone
I AM MY OWN WORST CRITIC

That is exactly the point I am trying to make.
It is up to you to decide what you want to do, not me.
You either accept a mediocre product or you strive for the best possible product.
There is no shame in producing some fire wood. Many top cue makers do it, at times. But they don't let it go out of their shop.

With your current attitude, I won't hold my breath waiting for that cue.
Good luck in your cue making and I hope you would at least strive for perfection, even if it is not obtainable.
