Default advice for an intermediate player
Sarah,
I have problem with my game. Actually, it's not my game, it's my head. They say that you're supposed to play the table and not the game, and that you're supposed to play one shot at a time. Let me tell you that this is much easier than what it sounds. I have a major problem with both. Good players intimidate me and hard shots scare the begeezes out of me. Inevitablly, I lose the the better player every time and I miss the hard shot. I've tired saying positive things and not using words like lose or miss, but in the end the results are the same and I think that all I'm doing is reinforcing losing habits. Do you have any advice?

Thanks a million
