Inaugural Palo Viejo Puerto Rico 9 Ball Classic

All Caribbean and International Invited Billiards Players:

We are proud to announce that 1st Palo Viejo Puerto Rico 9 Ball Classic will now be a "Special Qualifying Event" for the upcoming 8th Annual Predator International 10-Ball Championships to be held at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 12-17, 2008.

Changes have been made to the "1st Palo Viejo - Puerto Rico 9-Ball Classic Flyer" to accommodate this new announcement.  Sponsors for the Puerto Rico event include Simonis Cloth, Aramith/Saluc Balls, Poison Cues, and the Main Sponsor being Palo-Viejo, whom have held 14 Annual-National 8-Ball and 9-Ball Tournaments for the benefit of Amateur Players in Puerto Rico.

Six (6) spots will be distributed among the 12-16 finalists of the 1st Palo Viejo - Puerto Rico Classic to be held on April 18-20, 2008 at the Criollo Sports Bar and Restaurant in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.  We will be serving as "Special Caribbean and Latin-American Contact" for Dragon Promotions concerning the Predator International 10-Ball Event.

Players from Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, Dominican Republic, St. Kitts & Nevis, Jamaica, Guyana, Peru, Guadeloupe, Dominica, U.S. Virgin Islands, French St. Martin, and Trinidad & Tobago have been invited to participate in this first 2008 Caribbean-International Event under the New Billiards Group called the Caribbean Billiards Union, presided by Harold Acosta, whom is also the President of the Puerto Rican Billiard Federation.

Latin American Countries and Players are also encouraged to participate in this Puerto Rico Event.  Please call Harold Acosta at (787) 610-6129 for additional information about participation.

Please distribute this information to all your Federation Players and Pool-Playing friends in the Caribbean.
