The top eight emerged and the first matches called on Sunday were Kristin Haney versus Susan Mello and Edwidge Cavanna against Kjorsvik all playing on the A-side. The B-side started with Holly Sholes versus Susan Wilbur and Susan Williams playing Justine Bishop. The hot seat match was between Kristin Haney and Kjorsvik, with the Norway native dealing Haney a 7-0 donut. Haney went on to play Justine Bishop in the semifinal match, but again Haney was turned away when Bishop took the match 7-5. With Haney eliminated from the tournament, Kjorsvik won the qualifier spot before she even had to play the final match.

Norway’s Line Kjorsvik turned away a field of 33 at the Arizona Women’s Billiard Tour’s February 9-10 stop to take first place. This $500-added event was hosted by Metro Sportz Bar and also dangled a WPBA qualifier, presented by J. Pechauer Custom Cues, for the upcoming San Diego Classic.
Bishop went on to play Kjorsvik in the final match. Since it was a true double-elimination event, Bishop needed to defeat her opponent in two sets of a race to 4. As with all of her other matches, Kjorsvik dominated the match and won with a score of 7-1.
