US Marshals Fund Gets Help from the Andy Cloth Wyoming Open

Saratoga, Wyoming-  US Marshal Jon D. Goodman made the trip to the Andy Cloth Wyoming Open to see if he could raise some money for US Marshal Josie Wells, who was killed in the line of duty just weeks earlier, leaving behind a wife and baby. US Marshal Goodman took a $500 cue, a set of pool balls, and some hope, then for 2 days worked on getting every top pro to sign everything he had brought. Then he asked Mayor Glode and the staff what was the best thing to do to raise money? An auction of course! So the Andy Cloth Wyoming Open team went to work and 10 minutes later the people of Wyoming outdid themselves. Philip Canaday, owner of Wreck-A-Mended Collision Center in Rawlins, Wyoming won the bid at $1300 on the cue and Mayor Ed J. Glode of Saratoga won the bid of $700 for the pool balls. After some donations from others, the grand total came to $2306.65 for the Wells family. Wyoming folks are awesome and makes us all proud to be Americans.

Thank you to Rodney Morris, Mika Immonen, Oscar Dominguez, Johnny Archer, Raj Hundal, Shanelle Loraine, Charlie Williams and all the stars of the event that took time out to help.
