BCA Member Rooms Eligible to Sponsor Junior Players for Junior Nationals!
May 13, 2014 (Englewood, CO): The Billiard Education Foundation (BEF) still has spots open for junior players in this year’s Junior Nationals, being held June 24-27, 2014 in Louisville, KY during the BCA Summit.
Collaborating with the BCA, the BEF is accepting both qualifiers (visit http://billiardeducation.org/events/junior-nationals/2014-2/2014-qualifiers/ for qualifier instructions) and open entries, provided they are nominated and sponsored by a BCA member room.
Entries are $100 and cover the junior entrant’s BEF annual membership, entry and registration to the junior event, a pass to the BCA Summit, and all the perks of being a junior nationals participant.
The BEF Junior National 9-Ball Championships consists of four divisions: 18 & Under Boys, 14 & Under Boys, 18 & Under Girls and 14 & Under Girls. This is the only junior event in the U.S. that qualifies young players to participate in the WPA World Junior Championships.
If you know of an eligible player you’d like to nominate to this year’s Nationals, please contact the BEF prior to May 31, 2014. Entries will be taken until division fields are full, on a first-come, first-served basis.
