Simonis Cloth to Sponsor Kamui Pay or Play
Kamui Pay Or Play Tournaments is pleased to announce Simonis Cloth as a presenting sponsor. The Kamui Paay or Play events are schedule to be played on 10 foot Diamond Pool Tables during the Southern Classic which is July 20-28, 2012.
“The Pay or Play concept is a fast and exciting way to participate in any of six disciplines of pool. Initial short races will allow many more people to get involved quickly and have a shot at the top prize. In addition, the challenge of the ten-foot tables can be intimidating, but this format makes it less of a threat. Simonis wants more people playing all of the games and this is a great way to get more people playing because of the low barrier to entry.” Stated Ivan Lee of Simonis Cloth.
The Kamui Pay or Play Tournaments are open to all participants and feature a $1000 guaranteed first prize in five different disciplines of 8 Ball, 9 Ball, One Pocket, Straight Pool 14.1, and Banks, played on 10 foot Diamond Pro-Ams. Please go to Pay or Play web site for more information.
“After hearing about Shane and Earl playing on a 10’ table, interest in 10’ tables started to grow. DIAMOND concluded that designing a 10’ table would be an interesting project, and there was enough interest to warrant the development. With the Southern Classic Tournament kicking off in July, this would provide the perfect opportunity to showcase (4) 10’ DIAMOND Pro-Am tables to today’s elite pool players and hundreds of hardcore pool fans,” – Chad Scharlow – VP of DIAMOND.
The Diamond 10 Foot Challenge is a (16) person, $10,000 added, 10-Ball Mini-Tournament that will be held during the Southern Classic Pool Tournament at Harrah’s Casino & Hotel in Tunica, MS. The Southern Classic will be held from July 20-28, 2012. The Diamond 10 Foot Challenge will be held July 24-26, 2012 with the Finals going off at 9pm on July 27th, 2012.
