Mike Dunklin edged out a hill-hill final victory over Scott Boyd at the December 19 stop of the Lucasi Hybrid All-American Tour for the win. The $500-added event, hosted by Ride the Nine in Bloomington, IL, featured a 19-player field in a double-elimination 8-ball format on 7-foot Valley bar boxes.

Dunklin displayed his superior skills on this day, capping off his undefeated run to the hot seat with a 4-0 shellacking of John Pokora in the A-side semis and a 4-3 win over Jim Osbourne in the A-side finals.

On the B-side Boyd eliminated Eric Naretto at fifth place by a 3-1 margin, and Vik Dalavaipalle tied Naretto after being bested by John Pokora 3-2 in the same round.  Boyd then ousted Pokora at fourth place 3-2. Boyd kept up his momentum in the B-side finals with a win over Osbourne 3-2, setting up a finals showdown with Dunklin.  Boyd kept things close in the first set, but Dunklin prevailed on the hill 4-3 for the title.
