Albuquerque, NM – (September 1, 2009) – LiquidWick pool cues announced today that it has entered into a strategic partnership with McDermott Cue Mfg, LLC, of Menomonee Falls, WI, to manufacture, market and distribute billiards products for world billiard star Jeanette Lee “The Black Widow” and top motorcycle brand “Orange County Choppers.”
LiquidWick stormed onto the billiards scene a little over three years ago and set out to revolutionize the sport by aligning itself with the best partners in the over six-hundred- year old industry. In that time, they have signed a multi-year endorsement contract with Jeanette Lee, “The Black Widow,” who is easily the most famous and marketable pool player on the planet, and just recently acquired the billiards product license rights for “Orange County Choppers.” The addition of McDermott to this powerful mix is another example of LiquidWick executing its strategy of becoming a dominant force in the billiards industry.

LiquidWick expects to have “Black Widow” billiard products in retail locations, including Sears, by early fall. The “Orange County Choppers” products are in development and scheduled to hit the retail marketplace in time for the 2009 holiday season.

LiquidWick has also contracted with “Orange County Choppers” to have a custom bike built that will incorporate a “Black Widow” and billiards theme. “This bike will be the hottest motorcycle ever created for the billiards industry,” said Dan Shields, LiquidWick Partner. ‘OCC’ bikes can be huge draws and we plan to use this incredible new chopper, along with appearances by Jeanette Lee, for marketing and promotional events to support our retail partners.”

The next step for LiquidWick is the development of a billiards-themed restaurant chain that is being spearheaded by LiquidWick Partner, Rich Gustin, who has over twenty years of successful major hotel and restaurant development experience. The flagship location for the entertainment and restaurant venue is expected to be located in Nevada.
