The Blaze 9-Ball Tour made its way to Riley’s Concord Billiards in Boothwyn PA, June 7. A strong field of 30 players came out to play in the $1,000-added event, such as Matt Krah, Joey Testa, Josh Brothers, and Eddie Abraham, with Shaun “Get Some” Wilkie taking home first place.

Leading the top half of the bracket was Chuck Roth, who scored victories over Sammy Sega 7-6, Matt Zurcho 7-4, Testa 7-6, and Abraham 7-6. Wilkie took control of the bottom half of the bracket, notching wins over Steve Kaminow 7-1, Raphael Saldana 7-2, Brothers 7-3, and Jim O’Hara 7-5.

Roth and Wilkie met in the hot seat match. This was a one-sided event, with Wilkie shutting out Roth 7-0 and sending him to the one-loss side. Abraham was hoping to get revenge for his earlier loss to Roth, and he did so easily, winning 7-2 to reach the finals.

Abraham had to defeat Wilkie twice in the true double-elimination event, but it only took Wilkie one set to assert his dominance over Abraham, winning 7-5 and taking the seventeenth stop of the Blaze Tour’s season.
