Moore has deafeated both Atwell and Appleton in the 8-ball event of the U.S. Bar Table Championships. Both Atwell and Appleton are tied for the points lead.

In the evening rounds Moore was first faced with Darren Appleton, who won the 10-ball division earlier this week. It was a close race, but it was Moore prevailing 5-3. At the same time, in the other undefeated match, Glen Atwell bested Nick Kruger 5-2 in order to meet Moore in the hot seat match. Atwell, who took the 9-ball division Friday, took Moore to double-hill but succumbed and is now awaiting an opponent on the west side.

Stan Tourangeau sent Shane Van Boening packing after a hill-hill match and will face Kruger in Sunday’s morning round. After his earlier loss to Atwell, Tyler Edey is still alive and eliminated Jerry Matchin 5-2. His next opponent will be Appleton. The winners of those two matches will advance to the quarterfinal match.
