Curtis Motley Wins Pechauer Stop

Curtis Motley cruised to a first-place finish on the February 28 stop on the Pechauer All-American Tour. Hosted by Sandite Billiards & Grill in Sand Springs, OK, the $500-added event showcased a double-elimination 8-ball format on 7-foot bar boxes.

On this day Curtis Motley vanquished the field, including an A-side bracket finals win over Sandy Chamberlain 7-4. Earlier, in the A-bracket semifinals, Motley won his match, while Chamberlain bested Tom Pletcher 7-6.

In the B-side quarterfinals, Tim Ramsay eliminated Tim Frazier 7-2 at fifth place, tying him with Ken Palaith, who lost to Tom Pletcher 5-7. The B-side semifinals had Ramsay ousting Pletcher at fourth place by a 7-5 margin. Ramsay then placed Chamberlain at third place with a win, but the finals went only one set, as undefeated Curtis Motley turned back Ramsay 7-5 for the title.
