Jesse Bowman easily handled the 46-player field at the January 24 stop of the Pechauer All-American Tour to take first place. Hosted by Legends Sports Bar in Clinton, IA, the $500-added event featured a double-elimination 8-ball format on 7-foot bar boxes.

Bowman was the dominating force on this day, and he took the hot seat in good order, turning back Josh Johnson in the A-bracket semifinals 7-3 and Dan Kuhl in the A-bracket finals 7-1.  Kuhl had made it to the A-bracket finals with a semifinals 5-1 win over Travis Frazelle.

In the B-side bracket Ron Pluym and Craig McLaren eliminated Rich Bideaux and Doric Smith at seventh place by 5-2 and 5-1 scores, respectively.  Josh Johnson and McLaren each ended the day for Ron Pluym and Travis Frazelle at fifth place via respective 7-3 and 5-1 margins.  In the B-bracket semifinals, Johnson ousted McLaren at fourth place 7-1, and he followed up with a strong 7-1 performance in the B-side finals to eliminate Kuhl at third.  Both Johnson and Bowman own national championship titles, but Bowman was the best on this day, taking care of Johnson 7-4 for the title.
