Final Three to Return in Seminole Billiards Finale
Steve Mizerak Championship / Hollywood, FL
The Steve Mizerak Championship, held by the Seminole Pro Tour and hosted by the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, FL, is down to its final four players. Saturday will see the hot seat match commence, and the eventual winner will take home a cool $10,000 as a first-place prize.
In the evening matches, former Seminole Pro Tour champ Steve Moore came out ahead to make it to the hot seat match after his victory against Neil Fujiwara 8-5. Fujiwara had won the last Seminole Pro Tour event in October at Bankshot Billiards in Jacksonville, FL. Moore will face former U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship winner Gabe Owen Saturday in the hot seat match. Owen earlier faced down road partner Jeremy Jones 8-2 before facing down Player of the Year Shane Van Boening 8-6, sending him to the one-loss side.

In the one-loss bracket, hometown favorite Donnie Mills suffered a 8-5 loss to Van Boening, while past Seminole Pro Tour champion Neil Fujiwara was eliminated by another past champion, Corey Deuel, 8-5. Deuel then went on to face Van Boening in the quarterfinal match, but after a grueling hill-hill match, Deuel went home in fourth place.
