International Pool Tour to Hold First Pro-Am Championship

(Chicago, IL) The International Pool Tour presents the first Pro-Am Championship, November 8-9, 2008 at Palace Billiards in Villa Park.  Sixteen of the top players in the world will team up with players who participated in qualifiers around the Chicago area and beyond during the last couple months.  There is $50,000 at stake in this single elimination, race-to-three format.  Tournament details available at www.internationalpooltour.com.

There will be live coverage of the tournament at www.internationalpooltour.com.  Coverage includes comprehensive tournament brackets, a live free web camera to catch some of the action, and more. Tune in for great pool action and an online cue stick giveaway.  Details will be available on the live stream Saturday and Sunday.

Tournament hours are 12pm-7pm on Saturday and 12pm-4pm on Sunday, with the final match starting at 3pm.
