McGee and Rousey Remain Undefeated at Great Southern Billiard Tour Players Championship

Rousey defeated Ferrell at the Great Southern Billiard Tour Players Championship.
Winners’ side matches continue on day two of the Great Southern Billiard Tour at King Street Billiards in Fayetteville, NC. Winners of the 9 o’clock matches will cash in the event.
Our feature 7 o’clock match showed a calm, cool John Morra sending Charlie “Hillbilly” Bryant to the one-loss. Bryant appeared to get more and more frustrated throughout the match. The final score was 9-4. Denver’s Mark Haddad defeated Charles Brinson 9-3 while Mark’s fiancée Melissa Little was suffering a 9-3 defeat next door against Shane Van Boening.
Tony Chohan and Gabe “The Babe” Owen gave spectators and online viewers an eyeful with their top-notch pool and defensive play. Chohan pulled through in the end with a 9-7 victory. Johnathan “Hennessey” Pinegar bested Dave Grossman 9-2 while Larry Price took his match against Cliff Joyner, 9-7.
Sarah Rousey dominated with a consistent lead against Sparky Ferrell. While Rousey was ahead 7-6, Ferrell had ball in hand on the 5 ball but missed the 6 ball. In his frustration, he swept the balls and conceited the match. The final match of the evening was travel companions, Adam Smith and Beau Runningen. Smith pulled out to a slight lead before Runningen caught up at 7-7 with both players exchanging racks in the final three games in Runningen’s favor, 9-8.
