Sueyen Rhee was born August 16 in Virginia Beach, VA, but later moved to Arlington, VA. She played her first professional event in 2001 and went pro two years later.

Rhee claims to favor Diamond and Gold Crown pool tables. She is sponsored by Black Boar Cues.
