Pam Treadway began playing pool at Silver Cue, her father’s poolroom, and was ready for competition six months later. At 14, she participated in the 2002 BCA Junior National 9-Ball Championships, and the following year, she placed fifth in the event.
Two years later, Treadway took top honors at the Women’s Amateur Players Championship at the Super Billiards Expo over a tough field of 159. She also placed first in the overall points rankings in one of the toughest regional tours in the country—the Planet Pool Tour (now the Tiger Pool Tour). Treadway had taking first place in six out of the nine events she attended.
Sponsored by Eurowest of Germany and Todd’s Cue Pro Shop in Richmond, VA, Treadway is sure to begin her assault on the Women’s Professional Billiard Association (WPBA) soon.
