Stevens Steals Daytona Open
J. Pechauer Southeast Open 9-Ball Tour / Daytona Beach, FL

Josh Stevens stopped in at the J. Pechauer Custom Cue Southeast Open 9-Ball Tour’s August 26 event, where he took first place. This tournament was hosted by Uncle Waldo’s Billiards in Daytona Beach, FL.
Tour director Tommy Kennedy faced down Mark Coats 9-6 in the quarterfinals to advance to the semifinal match, where he ousted John Gerekis by a resounding 9-2. Gerekis had earlier been bested by Stevens in the hot seat match 9-5. In the finals, Stevens had little trouble with Kennedy and won the match and title 9-2.
